Miko Zeldes-Roth is a Fellow at New Heights Communications. Miko comes to New Heights with a background in political research and grassroots progressive and Jewish activism. He brings two cycles of campaign experience, having worked previously to elect local and statewide candidates in Minnesota. He also served as an intern in the Obama White House Office of Public Engagement, focusing on outreach to the Jewish community, Progressive organizations, and the Labor movement. Miko’s research interests are centered on political exclusion, authoritarianism, and race in American politics; he previously conducted research on democratization and equity in the Middle East. At New Heights, Miko supports messaging, research, and opinion writing efforts for clients.

Miko holds a MA in Political Theory from the University of Chicago and received his BA in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Carleton College.

Fun fact: Before the pandemic, Miko was a passionate Ultimate Frisbee player. He dreams to return to the field someday.
