Erika Gulija

Meet Erika

Erika Gulija is a Director at New Heights Communications where she specializes in media relations and TV bookings. She was previously a Principal at Fireside Campaigns where she managed broadcast interviews and print exclusives in top-tier media markets for a host of progressive clients. There, Erika led communication strategies that advanced the mission and vision for clients across voting rights, reproductive freedom, democracy reform, climate justice, gun violence prevention, immigration reform and more. She has a track record of crafting winning campaigns that center the voices of Latino, AAPI, and youth voters.

Before that, she supported press efforts that helped elect Jared Polis as Governor of Colorado, worked as a community organizer during the 2016 general election and 2018 midterm election, and led state-based legislative research for The Climate Reality Project. Erika holds degrees in Journalism and International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder with minors in religious studies and Arabic.
