Ali Noia 

Meet Ali

Ali Noia is an Intern at New Heights Communications, where she brings experience in journalism, outreach and community engagement. She is currently pursuing her M.A. at Georgetown University in Communication, Culture and Technology. In 2023, she graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Politics and a minor in Legal Studies.

Before joining New Heights, Ali served as the Director of Outreach for UC Santa Cruz’s Student Volunteer Center. By strengthening the organization’s communication strategies and forming strong bonds with other local leaders, she helped bridge the gap between campus and community–connecting students with impactful volunteer opportunities around the city. She was also a Print Reporter for City on a Hill Press, the student-run weekly newspaper at UC Santa Cruz. 

 Fun fact: In her free time, Ali loves to read, crochet, and go for runs along the Potomac.
