Leila Akinwumiju

Leila Akinwumiju is an Intern with New Heights Communications and a graduate of American University with a BA in International Studies.

Originally from Memphis, Leila’s prior work experience includes working as a researcher in Sub-Saharan African affairs, events management for the US Agency for International Development (USAID), & operating within the non-profit field. She has experience in grant writing, communications, and academic research. 

Fun Fact: Leila’s favorite activities are snorkeling and spending time in the ocean!
